Bruno was born to his father Peter Hernandez and mother Bernadette “Bernie” San Pedro Bayot. He started his music by imitating leading artists like Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson. His debut album was in 2010 Doo-Wops & Hooligans that took the third position at Billboard 200. After two years, he released his 2nd album Unorthodox Jukebox, of which two singles become worldwide hits, Locked Out of Heaven and When I Was Your Man.

Bruno Mars deserved his reputation and he was nominated for several awards including Billboard Music Award, Grammy Award, BRIT Award and many others. Up till now, Mars succeeded to sell over than 10 million albums all over the world. In addition to his career as a singer, Bruno Mars has imposed himself as a successful name as a songwriter. In 2011, Bruno Mars was honored by Time Magazine among hundred most influential figures in the world.

Bruno Mars is raised in a musical family. His mother was dancer and singer, and his father two has musical intentions. Mars’ uncle too likes music and helped the young Mars to stand on stage. His introduction to music was with his family band The Love Notes. In addition to the family impact on his music, Bruno Mars is also influenced by Elvis Presley as he impersonated him for long time. He was affected by Elvis’ music and the way he performs.
